Mackenzie & Natalie | Country Winter Engagement Session

What screams country more than good dogs, boots, barns, and the back of a pickup? Maybe a little whisky perhaps! I feel like I should be listening to some country jams as I finish up Natalie and Mackenzie’s engagement session and although I’m a country girl through and through….I am currently jamming to “The Trap” playlist on apple music right now, haha!

When Natalie told me her vision I knew I had just the place for a wintery engagement session with a country feel. I love those big beautiful trees lining the dirt road, the wide open field with the most gorgeous sunsets, and of course that big, beautiful white barn. They were all perfect backdrops for this engagement session.

Aren’t these two adorable? We were in freezing temps and they made each moment in from of the camera look effortless. We took a lot of coat/blanket snuggle breaks and a few extended car heat breaks, but they were absolute champs!

I can’t wait to photograph your wedding this November at the rustic Sonshine Barn this November in Gaylord, MI! Stay tuned ya,ll! :P
